We are looking for shippers of high value freight, products requiring temperature control, shipments that require lift-gate delivery, products that must be blanket-wrapped and shipments that require a time-specific or expedited delivery. We are also looking for shipments that do not utilize the entire capacity of the trailer.
Partial Truckload
If you have shipments that use less than 35 feet of trailer space, you could save money while helping to reduce the number of trucks on our roadways. This service offers the exclusive use of a portion of our trailer. Your rate will be based on the portion of the trailer’s capacity that you use.
How Does This Service Work?
We will pick up your shipment with one of our line-haul trailers. After your freight is loaded into the nose of our trailer, we will secure a bulkhead behind your shipment. We will then bring the trailer to our service center where additional freight will be added to the rear of the trailer by our LTL partner. The extra freight we add will be delivered prior to your shipment. If delivery time is a factor, we may be able to fill the nose of our trailer with freight, insert a bulkhead, then bring the trailer to your facility. You would then load your shipment on the rear of the trailer for early delivery. This service requires a call to our office to determine its availability.
What Type Of Products Is This Service Designed For?
If you are shipping freight that you do not want re-handled, but that does not fill a trailer, this service is for you. Blanket wrap and temperature control from 0 – 70 F. is available for partial truckload service.
Examples of shippers who would use this service are:
- manufacturers of high value machinery
- manufacturers and distributors whose shipments would be cost prohibitive if charged LTL shipping rates
- manufacturers of fragile and hard to handle products.
Truckload Optimization
If you have shipments that use more than 35 feet of trailer space, but do not utilize the full weight or cube capacity of a trailer, this option could be for you. Many types of freight can be reconfigured at our service center to reduce the amount of space required on a trailer. Some shipments may not need reconfiguration, but could be optimized by adding additional freight to the load. If your shipments qualify, you will save money while helping to reduce the number of trucks on our roadways.
How Does This Service Work?
If your shipment qualifies, we will pick up your freight and bring it to our service center for optimization. If necessary, our professional freight handlers will unload, reconfigure and reload your shipment to make optimal use of the trailer’s capacity. If there is at least 8 feet of trailer space left, or at least 10,000 pounds of trailer capacity available for additional freight, you would receive up to a 10% discount off the truckload rate and the fuel surcharge.
What Type Of Products Is This Service Designed For?
Manufacturers and distributors who have shipments comprised of multiple products of varying sizes and shapes can usually take advantage of freight reconfiguration. Often, the manufacturing process prohibits packaging products correctly for the optimal utilization of the cube space of a trailer. Shippers of temperature controlled and blanket wrapped products can take advantage of the available savings as well.

Temperature Control Service
80% of our trailer fleet is refrigerated. These trailers are equipped with late model Carrier Transicold units that are TRU compliant. We accept shipments with temperature control requirements from 0 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
Blanket Wrap
Our Blanket Wrap service is Green. Unnecessary packaging materials are adding to our landfills and wasting energy. Perhaps your products could be transported wrapped in blankets. You would save on packaging while improving sustainability.
Expedited Service
Many expedited shipments do not use the full capacity of the trailer. When the need arises, please give us a call. We often can add freight to your shipment while still meeting or exceeding your delivery requirements. Our team drivers offer superior expedited service to the West Coast.
