Our mission of providing a higher standard of service begins with our drivers. We believe they are the most important factor in providing superior service. At Green Transportation, our drivers are not just a number. In fact, out of respect for all that they do, we call them “Road Pilots”. Our office is family and pet friendly. We offer an excellent pay and benefits package, but pay and benefits are not enough. We have developed an environment of respect for our road pilots. We actively think of ways to make their jobs and their lives easier. Our road pilots enjoy regular outbound routes. The outbound loads all depart from our service center in Holland, MI. The backhauls are pre-arranged. Our pilots enjoy 1 ½ – 2 days of home-time each week. They enjoy one week of time off every 8 weeks. Our payroll is run weekly with with the option of direct deposit.
Drivers receive:
- Base pay for actual miles driven
- Additional drop pay
- Vacation and holiday pay
- Birthday bonus

GREEN TRANSPORTATION DRIVER FINISHING PROGRAM
Green Transportation offers a Driver Finishing Program for newly licensed CDL drivers. Our 8-week course will bring trainees through a learning process that encompasses everything from the proper completion of DOT required paperwork to driving across the country. Each trainee will have a dedicated, highly experienced trainer who will guide him/her every step of the way.
Trainees will begin the program locally in Holland, MI, and will gradually expand their area of operation. Students will earn a wage during this time period which will increase as their expertise and miles driven increases.
